Vik Muniz has a new series ‘Pictures of Magazine 2′. These wonderful collages are reconstructions of famous paintings by Van Gogh, Manet, Cézanne, Caravaggio, Stubbs, Cassett and others using cut and torn fragments from well magazines.

The detail, precision of his work is quite remarkable, his work derived from the images that haunt our collective memory, images from art history and the media.
