Uber Luciano Gatti‘s portrait paintings are rather striking and I was immediately taken with them, by the colours, the textures he uses and the simple fact that I love portraits, nude studies and life drawing. I suppose its one of those disciplines that is at the core of much art making and is thus always worth revisiting and appreciating.

About Gatti himself I know nothing except that he has his own studio and gallery in Brescia, Italy and I love his paintings.
