Theatre Of The Oppressed Workshops In Cork In May
Our skills exchange and DIYcork will be hosting a one day workshop – run by Ala Community Theatre Galway – in Theatre Of The Oppressed practice during The Trash Culture Revue, our skills exchange DIY Arts Festival. The one day course will be an introduction to Theatre of the Oppressed techniques for practical use in all groupwork situations.
The aim of the workshop is to introduce participants, through the use of stimulating games, exercises and other drama techniques, to the world renowned drama facilitation methods created by Augusto Boal.
So are you interested? Thinking about it? Well if you have an interest in Theatre Of The Oppressed techniques or would like to introduce it into your community then you should come along. And you DO NOT prior drama experience. So how much does it cost? Simple. It’ll cost you €40.
