Anargyros Drolapas photographs from ‘CitiesInVisible’ are inspired by Italo Calvino’s seminal book of the same name ‘Invisible Cities’ – much like Carlotta Cominetti’s photographs are – and constitute a study of the city of Athens; a meditation on its multifaceted and complex character.

Carlotta Cominetti‘s photographs are rooted in her training as an architect, the emphasis on light, material and form, each picture carefully constructed, classical and beautiful. Imbued with a spatial quality that is pronounced through her use of analogue techniques.

Carlo Ernande‘s paintings explore the tension between colour and form, the pictorial plane a confabulation of experiments, each seeking to find unity through texture and the juxtaposition of colour, his pictures opening up an abstract space in which he, and the viewer, are encouraged to delve into the myriad of layers, each one a riff […]
Anne-Sophie Guillet‘s photographs from ‘Reminiscence’ were not meant to be seen here, rather it was her latest series ‘Inner Self’ that she sent me, wanted me to post, however, after looking through her work I was immediately struck by the poignancy of these pictures; the deep melancholia that afflicts them, that settles over every image […]
Benjamin Davis‘ photographs from ‘Insights’ are a series of images that seek to explore our sub-conscious; what it means, how it changes our perception of the world around us, how each of us sees different things in the same object and place and how it affects our interpretation and interaction with the world around us.
