Description
Graduate of NCAD (visual communications). Worked previously in advertising, graphic design and puppet animation (Stuttgart, Oslo, Copenhagen, Cork). Currently manage arts programme for Gurranabraher/Churchfield Development project. Also run Ainm8 Productions facilitating young people in the art of making cartoons and designing comic books. Other work includes designing children’s interactive educational books. Recent projects include: Andy Warhol and Bookish exhibition Glucksman Gallery 2008, ‘Drawn by Water- Docklands Art Project 2008, David Hockney exhibition 2006 Triskel Arts Centre, Matisse Exhibition 2005 Triskel Arts Centre, ‘You are not an Island’ Cork -Denmark Animation project. Skills include: design,(quark,photoshop,freehand,illustrator,stop-motion pro, imovie, animation, editing, making and doing (set design experience) also organizational skills. Interested in: object, puppet, abstract weird and wonderful multi disciplinary stuff : interested in working in a creative team who want to push boundaries – in and out of cork.
