I am a womenswear designer with ten year experience between the fashion industry and education. My approach to design is perceptive with a response to current cultural, social and artistic demands. I have an incessant work ethic and a passion for learning, exchanging ideas and collaborating with various disciplines to keep both work and ideas innovative and unique. My recently accomplished MA nurtured my development as a designer, both academically and practically, enabling me to sustain, in particular, a highly technical standard in pattern drafting.
Process is key to my design methodology, allowing myself to excavate, and trust the interaction between the process of making and the meanings that arrive out of that process to inform my rationale and design decisions.
