Aisha Zeijpveld what remains photography series

In Aisha Zeijpveld‘s new photographic series, ‘What Remains’, she took Egon Schiele’s sketches and paintings of ‘unfinished’ figures as her inspiration. Starting with the sketches she cut out silhouettes in cardboard and had her models pose with arms, shoulders and faces disappearing into their background.

Her idea is simple, clean, singular. Like all good work must be.
