Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar Read in Celebrity Voices

| Life in a cultural petri dish | February 4, 2012

I saw a Jim Meskimen video a few months ago and was really impressed with his impersonations. So here you go, see what you think. In this video he takes Marc Antony’s famous speech from Shakespeare’s Julius Ceasar and recites it using the voices of 25 famous celebrities.

Incidentally, this play is one of the two I had to do in school – the other being King Lear – and I haven’t heard any lines from it since so it was good to hear this speech again. It’s wonderfully written. But then, of course it is, it’s Shakespeare.
