Sebastian Reiser‘s photography belies his youth, it is composed, mature, his images captivating. In his series, ‘Part Of A Fragment’ he looks at identity and the environment and gives us images that force us to ask questions; what are those people doing there? Are they dead? Are they victims? Who are they? What happened? What’s going on?
In that way the images are cinematic, they attempt to capture a moment in a story we have no idea of, we are lost and are left only with our imaginations to fill in the gaps.

Sebastian Reiser was born in 1986. In 2007 he acquired his first camera and began to enter the world of photography. With his contemporary photographs he captures moods of light and shadow. Places of silence and darkness are revealed through the light of the lens. Simplicity, solitude and melancholy calmly refer to the contrary of the fast life. The photos are special in terms of composition, harmonious colors and interesting appearance. They transport a particular atmosphere and convince through their expressiveness. The photos look at ease and unconstrained, and enable a glimpse of the world through his eyes.
