When you look at Keith Negley‘s illustrations you’d be forgiven for wondering what medium he uses to create his wonderful graphic images. On one hand they look hand drawn, painted, but on the other, they have a digital look to them. Curious. Well the answer lies somewhere in between as he uses lots of different mediums in his work including; pencil, charcoal, tempera, cut paper, collage, etc. However his favourite tools are ink and acrylic paint in combination with images produced using Adobe Illustrator.

The result? Beautiful illustrations – usually on the themes of loss, depression and suffering – that have a depth to them that one can only appreciate for their exquisite balance and graphic quality.
