A Short, Funny Film About Artist John Baldessari Film Narrated by Tom Waits

John Baldessari, know him? The conceptual artist known for his work featuring found photography and appropriated images? Well he’s one of the giants of conceptualism, ‘the guy who puts dots on people’s faces’.You know the ones, you’ve seen them before.

Well in this very short documentary Tom Waits narrates a funny, informative film that gives you everything you need to know about the artist; that he’s 6’7″, his wifi password is 123456789B and more such fascinating information. Enjoy it. It’s fantastic.

The film was commissioned by LACMA in 2011 for their iArt + Film Gala’ honoring Baldessari and Clint Eastwood and was directed by Henry Joost & Ariel Schulman.
