Jee-Shaun Wang‘s drawings are full of life, his wide range of styles drawn from a variety of influences including cave paintings, Japanese wood block prints, American indigenous art and graphic novels. Infact, you’d be forgiven for thinking the images above are the work of different artists. I like that. I like that he’s not willing to be set, boxed into a singular style.

What all Wang’s drawings do have in common is his democratic use of line – nothing in his pictures is given a preference, everything is equal – which forces you to look at every single element. And it’s worth doing. Wang’s work is alot of fun and full of small intricate details that are easily missed.
