These Cinemagraphs By Jamie Beck And Kevin Burg Are An Interesting Take On the GIF

These Cinemagraphs by Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg are pretty cool. They go a little further than a GIF in that they’re GIFs that see themselves as photographs and present only a few subtle details in motion. In other words it’s a photo that captures a moment in time rather than a GIF animation for the sake of it. I suppose ‘Cinemagraphs’ aspire to artistic merit. Either way I like them – they have a life unto themselves.
