Irma Gruenholz‘s clay illustrations are fun and so well made. She specialises in creating clay tableaux that have both volume and texture which she then photographs to complete the process. To date her work has been used in books, magazines, advertisements, online marketing, packaging and so on.
Here’s what she has to say about her work:

I am an illustrator specializing in clay illustration and other materials which allow me to work in volume. I love to explore the possibilities of each project working with all kinds of elements and textures. Once the illustration is finished, it is photographed and delivered to clients in high resolution digital format. If the model needs a hard and rigid finish, I use polymer clay. I also prepare 3D models in polymer clay for customer presentations, prototypes and custom props.
