FESTIVAL

Our Irish DIY arts festival belongs to the members of our arts skills exchange. It is all of ours. It is our expression and was initially set up to prove that this creative economy can work in the real, physical world.

Both mutantspace and the festival encourages people to try, experiment, fail and play in, encourages people to produce new art, new events and develop new ideas. It is also about autonomy and no compromise and in order to reinforce that we produce the entire festival with no money. Yep, thats right, none at all, after all that’s what mutantspace is all about. That’s what we’re trying to do – use our own collective skills and resources in place of monetary exchange.

Our last  festival ran from 17 – 20 May 2012, in Cork, Ireland. The next Trash Culture Revue will take place from May 17 – 19, 2013, in Cork, so if you want to get involved, perform, exhibit, cook, walk, run, play, experiment, try stuff out, have fun, design, administrate, organise, volunteer, party, jump up and down, shout, scream, laugh then fill out the form below.

And, if you want to see what we’ve produced so far then why not check out our previous editions:
