Ed Templeton is a world famous skate photographer and in this short film, produced by Leica, he gives a candid interview on his work, views on life, photography and of course Leica cameras.

Templeton was originally a pro – skater – it was and remains his passion – and out of this came his work, centred as it is around skaters and their lifestyles. His photography is very much in the documentary style; quick, visceral, raw, energetic. I really like it, he gets under the skin.

If you’re into skating you should check out some of his books and videos. If you want to read the transcript of the interview on the video you can get it on the Leica site.
