Musician Diego Stocco has created, ‘Music From Nature’ – a music composition created purely from natural sounds – as part of a project he did for Earth Day 2012. It’s composed using ‘instruments’ such as twigs, coconuts, honey, almonds, rice and coconuts. Bees also played a part in the final piece.

The whole composition is made WITHOUT synthesizers, samplers or additional sounds. To make the work he used his own customized microphones and string bow. All pretty cool when you think about it. The video does a much better job of explaining his technique than my words do. So have a look and listen

If you want to see his other work check out his music from a tree
