Photographer Brian Matthew Hart‘s latest light paintings called ‘Hand Series’ are a lesson in drawing with light – each mosaic made up of individual exposures which are then used as tiles to create the entire image.
Hart’s work reminds me in many ways of the work of British artists Gilbert and George who also use the same structure, the same mosaic form for their photo montages.

On another note the large palm piece above was made with 324 individual exposures which gives you some idea of what’s involved in creating this work.
