Ashley Percival‘s quirky, cute illustrations of owls and other animals might not fit in with the other artwork on this blog but I love them. They’re sweet evocations of nature, the perfect print for your kids bedroom. And why not. His work is well drawn, has great texture and good humour.

I’m definitely going to get a print for my daughter. I know she’ll love them and I know for a fact that the more the she sees and experiences the more her confidence will grow to make decisions based on her own taste, her own judgement. And that’s critical. We must encourage it. It’s our obligation. We want free thinkers in this world not more sheep. Sheep are dangerous.
