Alex Cherry’s digital illustrations lie somewhere between graphic design and fine art with a stencil style that is ubiquitous in the modern world of urban art and graffiti.

Completely self taught Cherry’s pictures begin with music which he distils through pop culture imagery from film to graffiti and advertising to comics. This fusion of easily recognisable images,text and styles has pushed his work into the mainstream, his grungy aesthetic the perfect vehicle to communicate to a younger audience who are well versed in the visual idioms of music and pop culture
