>Agent X‘s collages have a real punk aesthetic, a mash up of found images, brand names and paint that live in the world of pop culture, technology, fashion, music, politics and race – a commentary on the urban experience. I only came across him by accident while looking for someone else but was instantly drawn into his busy, vibrant work. He cites his influences as Takashi Murakami, Romare Bearden, Peter Kennard, Wangechi Mutu, Robert Rauschenberg, Mimmo Rotella, Jacques Villeglé and Kara Walker.

When I make my artwork I am always thinking about 3 main influences: past, present and always FUTURE. In most of my originals works I include things like pepto bismol, sim cards, onion power, etc… I truly believe art should have no boundaries.
